Historic vote on health reform scheduled for next week

The New York Times reports that White House and Congressional leaders have told Democrats that a vote on Thursday or Friday of next week they would schedule a vote on the Senate health bill. The House would first pass the Senate bill and then vote on the reconciliation bill. The next step will be taken by the House Budget Committee on Monday.

NYT reports also that the popular student loan bill will be included as part of the reconciliation package.

This is great news!
