Believe it or not, according to a Pew Research Center study, more than 70% of Americans don’t know who is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. 8% think it might be Thurgood Marshall, who’s dead. 4% think Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid just might be the guy leading the court. And, nearly a quarter think the Supreme Court is a liberal court up from just 15% that thought the court was liberal in 2007. More than a third of Repubs use the dreaded “L” word in referring to the Roberts court.
