What if you held a Tea Party rally and no one came?

American Grassroots Coalition and Tea Party Express organized a rally on Capitol Hill yesterday to promote "holding the line" against a compromise on the debt ceiling. Herman Cain, Jim DeMint, Rand Paul and Mike Lee spoke. Reps. Louie Gohmert of Texas, Paul Broun of Georgia, and freshmen Joe Walsh of Illinois, also spoke.

Only 15 Tea Partiers showed up.  The crowd soon swelled to 50.  I guess they scrambled and got some staffers to come outside and pretend to listen.

Funny.
