Jobs/economy not important issue, says Republican

Robert Dold is a freshman Republican Congressman from the Chicago area.  He recently sent an email to his constituents asking them what they thought were the most important issues facing the nation today.  He even provided this  list of issues they could check.  Notice anything missing--like JOBS OR THE ECONOMY.  I guess Dold just doesn't think his constituents care about Jobs.  Or, maybe he is just so obsessed with Deficit Reduction (number 1 on his list) or Spending or Tax Reform that he has no time to worry about whether his constituents can find work.

Are we surprised?  Not really.
