A Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind poll released
today has Gingrich in the lead nationally with support of 37% of Republicans
versus 25% for Romney. All other
Republican candidates are in single digits.
This same poll finds Obama beating Gingrich by 6 points 48% to 42% and
beating Romney by 4 points 46% to 42%.
Obama scores 50% or better against all other Republican candidates.
A new Gallup poll has similar results with Gingrich getting
support from 37% of Republicans versus 22% for Romney.
